Rosins Restaurant & Cafe in Kamp-Lintfort

I really have to wonder about some of the reviews here that seem to relate more to Rosin as a person than to the restaurant. If you don't like Frank Rosin as a TV personality, that's one thing. But for me no reason to rate the entire restaurant purely out of antipathy 👎 I have already been to the Rosin restaurant 3 times and I have NOTHING, NOTHING to complain about. The equipment and atmosphere are great, the entire team guided us through the evening attentively and in an exemplary manner, the service is really great! The wine accompaniment was adapted to me, as I came out as a beginner. At the price: Star cuisine is expensive. In terms of quantity, you can't expect 400g of meat with a plate of french fries. This is not only the case with Rosin, but generally in upscale gastronomy. Doesn't necessarily have to do with “paying a name”. I am happy to undertake the long journey of 280 kilometers in order to be able to spend a successful evening, both in terms of cuisine and service! Thanks to the entire team! ☺️

It has everything you need and what you want: the food and the wines were clearly in the foreground and both were really, really good! The whole thing was rounded off by a service that made us feel comfortable, shaped by people from the region. We would be happy to come back when the occasion arises.

I have to honestly say that I can't understand the good reviews. For me this can only be explained by the fact that tastes seem to be different. I didn't like it, and not only didn't my brother like it, he was sick all night after dinner. I've REALLY rarely eaten that bad, but maybe I'm too spoiled.

We went to the Rosin restaurant on my partner's 40th birthday. We were already expected and the card would be made out in my partner's name and presented with a small gift. The schmackofatz menu was amazing and the price is more than justified! The wine accompaniment left nothing to be desired. The service was friendly, courteous and always attentive. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone and it will certainly not be our last visit.

Been there before and would like to leave a review. Quite a nice shop. Dishes look good too. But the prices are / were too expensive for me. The food partly tasted as if I had been to a normal 2-3 star restaurant! You only pay for the name Rosin ...

Creative star cuisine. Expensive, but a special kind of culinary adventure trip. Top service, highly professional without unnecessary vanity and close to the guest. Anyone who goes out to eat here can expect a real experience.

Prominence is silvered here! An absolutely disappointing evening that also had to be paid very expensive. Not a single course was remembered as star-worthy and according to his employees, Mr. Rosin does not show up with his guests either because he does not want to be measured by his celebrity status but by his food. So without wanting to step closer to him - you really don't need to visit the shop because of the food.

The name has probably become a brand over the years due to very good marketing. Hats off! With this brand you can very well make the higher purchasing power level (or the one who wants to belong) happy. Nothing to say against it. Completely legitimate. But I don't like the way the namesake deals with his surroundings. But maybe you should just judge the food & service there and not ... (does not belong here)

Impeccably! All expectations are met, the two Michelin stars they have are worth it. All the dishes were interesting, delicious and some even unexpected. The policy with drinks is a little unclear, you will already learn about it from the account. Very well selected wines for meals! The service is good, the interior clearly corresponds to the philosophy of the dishes :) A set of three dishes will leave you with a slight feeling of hunger and a desire to taste more :) Recommended for visiting, it is better to book in advance.

Who the heck I am to put down a 2 Michelin Starred Restaurant - eventhough the fame TV Chef has rarely been in his resto personaly? We had wonder 7 courses menu. Whoever prepared the menu, he earns a star himself! We enjoyed our appetizer on the restaurant' terrace and later on escorted to the dining room - which isnt huge but tastefull furnitured n decorated. If I compare ther service to other starred restaurants I have been sofar ( from 1-3 * ) I must say the staffs in Frank Rosin were a bit too pushy. Probably bec the venue was full or something. A plus point, therefore, for the fact that they also offer non alcohol drinks to each course- as its stil something rare.
